St John's Church regularly runs the very popular
Marriage Course.
The Marriage Course is a series of eight sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship.
It’s a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage.
The Marriage Course is very practical and helps equip people with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage
that lasts a lifetime.
Each week there is the opportunity to enjoy a special meal together and listen to a talk.
Then there is plenty of time to discuss the topic as a couple.
There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.
There are always opportunities to help in this. They particularly need people to help with the catering for the evenings.
You can look at the
national site
, or contact the local course leaders,
Anne and Neville Hilton.
There is also a free
self help booklet
produced by the Baptist Church.
This uses some of the latest thinking in counselling and relationship
building as well as some traditional wisdom from the Bible.
David Newton, the minister at the Baptist Church is also available as an
experienced coach
